Payment Terms

Last Updated: August 26, 2026

These Payment Terms explain the payment methods, payment authorization procedures, billing requirements, and payment-related conditions applicable to purchases made through Gonovate at www.gonovate.com.

Accepted Payment Methods

Gonovate currently accepts the following payment methods, subject to availability during checkout:

Credit & Debit Cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Shop Pay
PayPal

The payment methods available for a particular order may depend on your device, location, payment provider, browser, and checkout configuration.

Payment Authorization

When you place an order, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the payment for the total amount shown during checkout.

Before completing your purchase, the applicable product price, shipping charges where applicable, and any other relevant charges will be presented to you during checkout.

Orders are generally processed after successful payment authorization or confirmation, subject to product availability and order verification.

Payment Security

Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment service providers. These providers use their own security systems and procedures to process payment transactions.

Gonovate does not intentionally request customers to send complete payment card details through email or ordinary customer service communications.

Customers should ensure that payment information is entered only through the official checkout process or authorized payment interfaces.

Payment Verification

In some cases, additional verification may be required before an order can be processed.

Verification may be necessary to confirm payment authorization, prevent fraudulent activity, protect customers, comply with legal obligations, or resolve technical payment issues.

If additional information or action is reasonably required to complete payment verification, we may contact you using the information provided with your order.

Order Confirmation

After you submit an order, you may receive an order confirmation or payment-related notification.

An automated order confirmation generally confirms that we have received your order request. Where further payment verification, availability checks, or other processing is necessary, final order fulfillment may remain subject to successful completion of those steps.

If we are unable to process or fulfill your order, we will take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

Payment Failure or Rejection

If your payment is declined, rejected, interrupted, or cannot be authorized, your order may not be processed.

Possible reasons may include:

Insufficient available funds
Incorrect payment information
Expired or restricted payment methods
Payment provider security checks
Bank or card issuer restrictions
Technical processing issues
Fraud prevention or security measures

If a payment attempt is unsuccessful, you may try another accepted payment method available during checkout.

Pricing and Charges

Prices for products are displayed on the relevant product pages and may be updated from time to time.

The price applicable to your order will generally be the price displayed during checkout at the time you submit your order, subject to the correction of obvious errors and the requirements of applicable law.

Any applicable shipping charges or additional charges that must be paid by the customer will be displayed before the order is completed.

Taxes

Applicable taxes will be handled in accordance with relevant laws and the information available during checkout.

Where taxes or other mandatory charges are included in the price or added during checkout, the applicable information will be presented as required by relevant law.

Refunds

If a refund is approved under our Return and Refund Policy or required under applicable law, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless another legally permitted arrangement is agreed.

The time required for a refunded amount to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or financial institution.

Nothing in these Payment Terms affects any mandatory refund rights available to consumers under applicable Italian or European Union consumer protection law.

Unauthorized or Fraudulent Transactions

If you believe that an unauthorized transaction has been made using your payment method, you should contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider as soon as possible.

You may also contact Gonovate so that we can review the information available in connection with the relevant order.

We may take reasonable steps to investigate suspected fraudulent, unauthorized, or unlawful transactions and may suspend or cancel affected orders where permitted by applicable law.

Italian Consumer Protection Law

These Payment Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Italy and the European Union.

Consumer transactions are subject, where applicable, to the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo), Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005 (Decreto Legislativo 6 settembre 2005, n. 206).

The provisions governing consumer contracts, distance contracts, pre-contractual information, and consumer rights are subject to the applicable provisions of the Italian Consumer Code, including the relevant rules contained in Articles 45 and following.

The applicable consumer protection framework also reflects relevant European Union legislation, including Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Payment Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or reduce any mandatory consumer rights granted under applicable Italian or European Union law.

Where a mandatory legal provision provides consumers with greater protection than a provision contained in these Payment Terms, the mandatory legal provision will prevail.

Where applicable, consumers may have statutory rights relating to distance contracts, withdrawals, refunds, non-conforming goods, and other consumer protections under the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo), Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005.

Third-Party Payment Providers

Some payment methods are provided or processed by third-party payment service providers.

Your use of services provided by Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, card networks, banks, or other payment providers may also be subject to their own applicable terms, privacy policies, and security procedures.

Gonovate is not responsible for the independent policies or operational decisions of third-party payment providers, except to the extent that liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to These Payment Terms

We may update these Payment Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our payment methods, business practices, legal requirements, or operational procedures.

Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Changes will not retroactively affect rights or obligations relating to completed transactions unless required or permitted by applicable law.
